MetaConnector Alternative: Pricing, MT4 Support and MetaConnector vs PineConnector
Choose TradingView Link for a free plan, monthly prices from $4.99 and published speed figures per plan. Choose MetaConnector if you run many accounts and want a one-off price: $169 for 10 accounts, listed as lifetime. Both support MT4 and MT5 with an EA in your own terminal.
We make TradingView Link, so we aren't neutral. Every MetaConnector fact on this page comes from its own website, checked November 2026 and linked below. Where its site doesn't answer something, we say so. MetaConnector is made by ComBiz Services Pvt Ltd and lives at metaconnector.combiz.org. Prices change, so check them before you buy.

How much does MetaConnector cost?
These are the three plans in the pricing section of its homepage. Each one lists "Any MT4/5 Broker" and "Unlimited Signals".
| Plan | Includes | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Noob | 1 account, basic support | $19, valid 1 month |
| Professional | 3 accounts, priority support | $49, valid 4 months |
| Pro | 10 accounts, priority support | $169, valid "Lifetime" |
A few things on its site don't line up or aren't spelled out, so ask before you pay:
- Published price. The homepage shows the prices above, but its FAQ says plans are "customizable" and tells you to contact the team for an updated price list.
- Account limit. The plans stop at 10 accounts, while the homepage also says you can connect "an unlimited number of MT4/MT5 accounts".
- Renewal. The plans show a validity period and a pay button. We didn't find whether they renew automatically, or at what price.
- Annual billing. The sign-up form offers Monthly or Annually, but we found no annual price.
- Lifetime. We found no definition of what it covers, such as future EA versions or how long the service will run.
Which costs less over one and three years?
It depends on how many accounts you run. This is our own arithmetic from the listed prices, and it assumes each plan can be bought again at the same price.
| Option | 1 year | 3 years |
|---|---|---|
| MetaConnector Noob (1 account) | $228 | $684 |
| MetaConnector Professional (3 accounts) | $147 | $441 |
| MetaConnector Pro (10 accounts) | $169 | $169 |
| TradingView Link Basic | $59.88 | $179.64 |
| TradingView Link Standard | $119.88 | $359.64 |
| TradingView Link Pro | $239.88 | $719.64 |
For one account, our Basic plan is cheaper until about the third year, when the one-off $169 starts to win, if lifetime means what you'd expect. For several accounts, MetaConnector's Pro plan is clearly cheaper, because each TradingView Link plan covers one webhook.
Does MetaConnector support MT4 and MT5?
Yes, both. Its documentation has a setup guide for each, and its FAQ says it works with most brokers that offer MT4 or MT5, as long as the broker allows Expert Advisors. If your broker or prop firm only offers MT4, it and TradingView Link are both options, while PineConnector's current plans focus on MT5.
How does the MetaConnector EA run?
It works the same way as ours. A TradingView webhook goes to its server, and an EA in your own MetaTrader terminal places the order. You paste a licence ID into the EA, and your alert message starts with that ID.
- MT4 and MT5 setup. You copy the EA into the Experts folder and allow DLL imports. MT4 also needs its URL on the WebRequest list, which it says MT5 v3.37 and later don't. Our EA needs DLL imports and WebRequest on both platforms, so this isn't a difference in its favour or ours.
- Windows. Its docs list Windows 10 and 11 and Windows Server 2016 to 2022 as compatible. For Mac, they recommend a Windows VPS. They also list the MetaQuotes VPS as incompatible, which applies to our EA too.
- Staying online. Its guide says a VPS isn't mandatory, but automation stops if MT5 is closed, sleeping or offline.
- Charts. Its MT4 guide says that to trade XAUUSD, the "EA needs to attach on the XAUUSD chart". Read plainly, that means one chart per symbol, so ask if you trade many. Our EA goes on one chart.
- Weekends. Its terms say maintenance is done on Saturdays and Sundays and "services are likely unavailable during this period". That matters if you trade crypto at the weekend.
On speed, it says "minimal latency" and "extremely low latency", and its FAQ says "almost instantaneously". We found no measured figure for its own service, and we haven't tested it. Our figures are published per plan.
Which instruments can you trade?
MetaConnector doesn't publish an instrument list that we could find. Its docs use XAUUSD in their examples and say the symbol must match the one in MetaTrader, so coverage should depend on your broker. The same is true with TradingView Link: the EA can trade the symbols your broker offers, using your broker's symbol name.
When is MetaConnector the better choice?
- You run many accounts for a long time. $169 once for 10 accounts is hard to beat if the lifetime plan holds up. Ten separate subscriptions with us would cost far more.
- You dislike subscriptions. Its Pro plan is a single payment, and its 4-month plan means fewer charges. Ours bill monthly.
- You want no signal cap at a low tier. Every plan lists unlimited signals. Our limits run from 5 a month to 7,000 a day.
- You want hands-on setup help. Its FAQ offers support by email, WhatsApp and remote assistance.
When is TradingView Link the better choice?
- You want to test with no deadline. The free plan has no time limit. MetaConnector's trial lasts 7 days and its paid plans aren't refundable after activation.
- You run one account. $4.99 a month against $19 for its one-account plan.
- You want to know the delay you're paying for. We publish a speed figure for each plan. We found none for MetaConnector.
- You want Telegram included. Our bot takes orders and sends trade alerts from Basic. Its FAQ says Telegram needs a custom solution.
- You want simple pricing. Our plans and limits are all on one page.
How does MetaConnector compare with PineConnector?
They're different deals. MetaConnector sells an EA for your own terminal at low one-off or fixed-term prices. PineConnector's pricing section sells a monthly subscription with hosted MT5 included.
| Feature | MetaConnector | PineConnector |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest price | $19 for 1 month (1 account) | $59/month (Core, 3 accounts, 1 hosted) |
| Most accounts | $169 once (10 accounts) | $199/month (Pro, 25 accounts, 5 hosted) |
| Trial | 7 days free | 7 days for $7, then $59/month |
| Hosted MT5 | None on its plans | Included in every plan |
| MT4 | Yes | Pricing lists MT5 only, FAQ says MT4 and MT5 |
| Signals | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Published speed | No figure found | "<1s typical", from PineConnector to its hosted MT5 |
On MT4, PineConnector's site isn't consistent: its pricing section only describes MT5 accounts, but its FAQ page still says MT4 and MT5, so ask it if you need MT4. MetaConnector's docs do mention a "MetaConnector VPS", but we found no plan or price for it. Our bridge roundup has more options.
How do you switch from MetaConnector to TradingView Link?
- Sign up on the free plan and create a webhook for your MT4 or MT5 account.
- Install the TradingView Link EA, add
https://tradingviewlink.comto the WebRequest list, and attach the EA to one chart. Remove the MetaConnector EA from that account so one alert can't place two orders. - Click Add Secret in the dashboard to generate your webhook password.
- Change each TradingView alert's webhook URL, and rewrite its message in our format.
- Run your alerts on a demo account and compare the fills before you stop using the old EA.
A MetaConnector market order looks like this:
License_ID, buy, XAUUSD, 0.50 The same order in TradingView Link:
YourWebhookPassword
long XAUUSD q=0.5 The webhook guide has the full message format, and the MT4 and MT5 guides show each setup screen.
What do TradingView Link's plans include?
- Free, $0: 5 alerts per month, latency ~20 seconds. Enough to test your setup.
- Basic, $4.99/month: 500 alerts per day, latency ~3 seconds. Telegram trading & alerts, webhook dashboard.
- Standard, $9.99/month: 3,000 alerts per day, latency ~1 second. Telegram, webhook dashboard, alert logs.
- Pro, $19.99/month: 7,000 alerts per day, latency Sub-second. Alert sharing, Telegram, webhook dashboard, alert logs.
Every plan works with both MT4 and MT5. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and prepaid fees are non-refundable. Pricing has the full comparison.
Frequently asked questions
How much does MetaConnector cost?
In November 2026, its homepage listed $19 for one account for one month, $49 for three accounts for four months, and a one-off $169 for ten accounts with "Lifetime" validity. Its FAQ tells you to ask the team for an updated price list, so confirm before you pay.
Does MetaConnector support MT4?
Yes. Its plans say "Any MT4/5 Broker", and its documentation has separate setup guides for MT4 and MT5. TradingView Link also supports both on every plan.
Does MetaConnector have a free trial?
Its homepage and sign-up form offer a 7-day free trial, and the homepage says no credit card is required. Its FAQ is more cautious, saying a demo or trial "may be available on request". TradingView Link has a free plan with 5 alerts a month and a 7-day free trial of any paid plan.
Is the MetaConnector lifetime plan worth it?
If you run several accounts for years, it can be. $169 once for ten accounts costs less than most subscriptions over three years. Its site doesn't define what lifetime covers, such as future EA versions or how long the service will run, so ask first.
Is MetaConnector or PineConnector cheaper?
MetaConnector, on the listed prices. Its plans cost $19 to $169 and PineConnector's cost $59 to $199 a month. PineConnector's price includes hosted MT5 and up to 25 accounts, though, which MetaConnector's plans don't list.
Do I need a VPS with MetaConnector or TradingView Link?
A VPS isn't mandatory for either one, but the EA runs in your terminal, so MetaTrader has to stay open on a PC or VPS that stays online. MetaConnector's FAQ advises a VPS for 24/7 trading. Neither EA works on the MetaQuotes built-in VPS.
Does MetaConnector offer refunds?
Generally not. Its refund policy says no refund is processed after activation and that it decides exceptional requests at its discretion, so test first. TradingView Link's prepaid fees are non-refundable too, which is why our free plan is the place to test.
Do MetaConnector alerts work with TradingView Link unchanged?
No. MetaConnector uses a comma-separated message that starts with your licence ID. TradingView Link uses two lines: the webhook password, then an instruction such as long XAUUSD q=0.5. You rewrite each alert message once when you switch.
