Best TradingView to MT5 Bridges in 2026 (7 Compared)

Last updated · By the TradingView Link team
Short answer

The best bridge depends on your platform, your budget and whether you want MetaTrader hosted for you. Our picks: TradingView Link for MT4 and MT5 on a small budget (free plan, then $4.99 to $19.99 a month), PineConnector for a hosted MT5 terminal and unlimited alerts ($59 to $199 a month), and TradingConnector or MetaConnector for MT4 and MT5 with a 7-day free trial.

We make TradingView Link, so we aren't neutral, and it's first on this list. To keep the comparison fair, every competitor fact comes from that company's own website, checked in November 2026 and linked in the sources at the end. We haven't measured the other bridges' speed ourselves, so we only quote speeds a vendor publishes. Prices change, so check them before you buy.

How do you choose a bridge?

What does every bridge need?

Whichever bridge you pick, TradingView only sends webhook alerts from its paid plans (Essential and up), and it asks you to turn on 2-factor authentication first. Webhook URLs must use port 80 or 443. Unless you choose a cloud bridge, MetaTrader also has to stay open on a PC or VPS for trades to go through. Our TradingView to MT5 guide walks through the full setup.

Frequently asked questions

What is a TradingView to MT5 bridge?

A service that receives your TradingView alert as a webhook and turns it into an order in MetaTrader 5. TradingView can't place MetaTrader trades by itself, so you need a bridge, and with most bridges an Expert Advisor (EA) running in your MT5 terminal.

Is there a free TradingView to MT5 bridge?

TradingView Link has a free plan with no time limit: 5 alerts a month at about 20 seconds per trade, which is enough to test a setup. The other bridges in this comparison offer trials of 3 to 14 days instead. Every bridge also needs a paid TradingView plan, because TradingView only sends webhooks from its Essential plan up.

Which bridges support both MT4 and MT5?

In this comparison: TradingView Link, TradingConnector, MetaConnector and WebhookTrade. PineConnector's current plans are MT5 only, and TradeSgnl and SignalForge don't list MT4.

Do I need a VPS for a TradingView to MT5 bridge?

If the bridge uses an EA in your own terminal, MT5 has to stay open for trades to go through, so many traders rent a Windows VPS. Cloud options such as PineConnector's hosted MT5, WebhookTrade and TradeSgnl run MetaTrader for you.

Is it safe to give a bridge my MetaTrader password?

A bridge that runs MetaTrader in the cloud has to log in to your trading account, so you trust that company with your login. Bridges that use an EA in your own terminal, such as TradingView Link, never need your broker password.

Can I use a bridge with a prop-firm account?

Usually yes, as long as the firm allows Expert Advisors. Every prop firm has its own rules on EAs and automated trading, so check them before you connect a funded account.
