When is PineConnector the better choice?
- You don't want to run MetaTrader yourself. Every PineConnector plan includes a hosted MT5 terminal, so there's no PC or VPS to keep running. TradingView Link's EA runs in your own terminal.
- You send a very high number of alerts. PineConnector's plans have no alert limit; TradingView Link's top plan allows 7,000 alerts a day.
- You manage several MT5 accounts from one place and want its built-in analytics and no-code tasks.
When is TradingView Link the better choice?
- You trade on MT4. PineConnector's current plans are MT5-only; TradingView Link supports MT4 and MT5.
- Price matters. The Standard plan costs $9.99 a month and the Pro plan $19.99, against $59 for PineConnector's cheapest plan.
- You want to test for free. The free plan includes 5 alerts a month, and every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
- You'd rather keep MetaTrader on your own machine. The EA runs in your terminal, and you never enter your MetaTrader password into TradingView Link.
- You want Telegram trading on a budget. Telegram trading and alerts come with every paid plan from $4.99.

How do you switch from PineConnector to TradingView Link?
- Sign up on the free plan and create a webhook for your MT4 or MT5 account.
- Install the TradingView Link EA, add
https://tradingviewlink.comto the WebRequest list, and attach the EA to one chart. Remove the old bridge EA from that account so one alert can't place two orders. - Click Add Secret in the dashboard to generate your webhook password.
- Edit each TradingView alert: replace the webhook URL with your TradingView Link URL and rewrite the message in the TradingView Link format.
- Run your alerts on a demo account, compare the fills, then cancel your old subscription.
The message format is different, but the core settings (direction, symbol, lot size, stop loss and take profit) all have direct equivalents. A long order with SL, TP and a magic number looks like this:
YourWebhookPassword
long BTCUSD q=0.1 sl=300 tp=600 m=1001 The full syntax is in the documentation, and the MT5 and MT4 guides walk through the setup step by step.
What do TradingView Link's plans include?

| Pro | $19.99/month | 7,000 alerts per day | Sub-second | Alert sharing, Telegram, webhook dashboard, alert logs |
Every plan works with both MT4 and MT5. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial; if you don't subscribe when it ends, your account moves to the free plan. New subscriptions come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Is TradingView Link compatible with PineConnector alert messages?
No. TradingView Link uses its own two-line format: the webhook password on the first line, then an instruction such as long BTCUSD q=0.1. You rewrite each alert message once when you switch.
Does PineConnector support MT4?
Its current plans (Core, Plus and Pro) cover MT5 only, according to its pricing page in November 2026. TradingView Link supports both MT4 and MT5 on every plan.
Is TradingView Link cheaper than PineConnector?
On list price, yes: TradingView Link costs $0 to $19.99 a month and PineConnector costs $59 to $199 a month. PineConnector includes hosted MT5 terminals in that price, while with TradingView Link you run MT4 or MT5 yourself on a PC or VPS.
Do I need a VPS with TradingView Link?
Your MT4 or MT5 terminal has to be running for the EA to trade, so most people use a Windows VPS. PineConnector includes managed MT5 hosting instead.
Which one is faster?
TradingView Link publishes its latency per plan, from about 20 seconds on Free to under a second on Pro. PineConnector doesn't state a latency figure on its pricing page, so there is no like-for-like number to compare.
Can I try TradingView Link before paying?
Yes. The free plan includes 5 alerts a month, and every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial without a credit card. New subscriptions also come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
