FAQ for TradingView Link

1. How does the free trial work?

The 7-day free trial begins when you select ‘Start Free Trial’ from the Pricing area. Your webhook ID stays active until the expiration date shown on your dashboard. This trial period is designed to help you determine if TradingView Link meets your requirements. Each account can only use the trial once per MetaTrader 4 or 5.

2. What happens after my free trial ends?

Once the trial period is over, your account will automatically revert to the free plan. You’ll still have access to the features included in the free plan without needing to take any action.

3. Is it possible to change plans during the trial?

No, switching to a different trial plan isn’t permitted. To try another plan, you’ll need to create a new account using a different email address.

4. How is the signal limit calculated?

Signal limits are calculated based on complete messages, with each message counting as a single signal, even if it covers multiple lines. For instance:

long US500 q=0.1 tp=100
long US500 q=0.2 tp=1000
long US500 q=2 sl=1000

For alert sharing, each shared target counts as one signal.

5.When do signal limits reset?

Signal limits reset every day, depending on your device’s timezone. If you hit the monthly signal cap, you can cancel your subscription and sign up again to restart the limit.

6. Does the EA only trade the symbol on the chart it’s attached to?

No, the EA can trade any symbol available on MetaTrader 4 or 5 after connecting to our server, provided you’ve added the designated symbols to the symbol list in MT4 or MT5 beforehand. You simply need to attach the EA to one chart and operate it in a single instance.

7. Can I use multiple EAs on one computer if I have several accounts or the Pro Plan’s alert sharing feature?

Yes, this is possible by configuring multiple MetaTrader 4 or 5 instances on the same computer. For instructions on setting up multiple instances, check this external guide:

8. What should I do if I encountered ‘unknown symbol’ error?

Ensure the symbol in your alert message exactly matches the one listed in MetaTrader 4 or 5, including uppercase and lowercase letters. Additionally, confirm that the designated symbol you wish to trade has been added to the symbol list in MetaTrader 4 or 5 first.

9. What happens if I terminate my paid plan subscription?

Upon cancellation, your paid plan will automatically downgrade to the free plan at the end of its billing period. No further charges will apply until you choose to resubscribe to a paid option.

10. Can I switch to another plan after purchase?

Yes, but you’ll need to cancel your existing subscription first and then purchase the new plan. Switching before the current plan’s end date won’t carry over any remaining days to the new plan.

11. How can I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel your subscription by clicking "Cancel Subscription" in the settings section of dashboard.

12. Do I have to leave TradingView or Telegram Open?
